Course description
This qualification is offered in 2 ways: Pathway 1 - Mainstream: As a trade course for apprentice and/or mature-age workers in the wall and floor tiling trade. You will learn how to lay tiles on a variety of internal and external surfaces, including horizontal, vertical, and curved surfaces. You will also learn about waterproofing wet areas. Pathway 2 - Skills Express. As an assessment only pathway for existing workers who hold the skills and knowledge in Wall and Floor Tiling gained over a period of at least 4 years in the industry.
This is an assessment only pathway to allow existing workers to gain a Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling which includes the recognised Units of Competency for the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) licensing requirements.

Entry requirements
Must have a minimum of 4 years experience working in the industry and hold a General Construction Work Health and Safety (WHS) Induction in NSW (White Card).
